With Tap2You, you don’t need an app, a tech background, or a printer.
Just one tap — and you’re connected.
NFC (Near Field Communication) is a short-range wireless technology that lets two devices exchange data when they’re placed just a few centimeters apart—think “tap to pay” systems like Apple Pay or Google Pay. With Tap2You, we harness this same secure protocol to transmit your digital business card in an instant.
When you tap your Tap2You card against a smartphone, the phone’s NFC reader wakes up and retrieves a tiny data packet containing a link to your custom profile. That profile then opens in the phone’s browser—no app download, no pairing sequence, and no fumbling with QR codes (though we include one as a backup).
Why NFC Is Ideal for Digital Business Cards:
The connection happens in under a second, so you never miss a beat in a networking conversation
NFC operates over very short distances, making it hard for unauthorized devices to intercept. Your data lives on our secure servers and is only shared when you tap
Most modern Android and iOS devices support NFC out of the box. When NFC isn’t available, the embedded QR code on your card provides an automatic fallback
Recipients don’t need any special software—just tap, and your profile loads as a web page
By leveraging NFC, Tap2You makes sharing your contact details feel as natural as handing over a traditional card—but with speed, security, and instant updates that paper simply can’t match.
